We had been looking forward to this wedding all summer. It was going to be a spectacular day in a spectacular city—hello, Chicago, we meet again! Jackie and Tom’s wedding day started off in style at the ultra-modern Trump Hotel, where the groom and his entourage primped and prepped for a long day ahead. As dashing as the grooms party looked, Jackie made quite the statement herself walking down the aisle in a dreamy, tulle Vera Wang ballgown. From the moment we saw those contagious smiles meet at the front of the altar, we knew this wedding was going to be a winner. And we couldn’t wait to see the story unfold.

After a beautiful ceremony at the Alice Millar Chapel, a true stained-glass wonder, it was off to downtown Chicago for portraits with the newly weds. But like they say, the journey is half the fun, and this bus ride into the city was no show-stopper. In fact, it might have been one of the most memorable parts of the day! There was champagne, music, dancing up and down the aisle, and just plain monkeying around. And if you think this is crazy, well….call me maybe (smile).

We love weddings that take place in not-so-ordinary places. There’s something very magical about transforming a space from Monday commute to party central! Chicago Union Station, which is usually home to busy commuters and casual travelers, became quite the wonderland for Jackie and Tom’s wedding spectacular. From cartoon cake toppers to pill-bottle party favors and train tickets as escort cards, every little detail was planned to perfection. Their cocktail hour even came with a basketball arcade station so everybody could shoot some hoops before the reception began! Coolest idea ever!

This was already looking like a totally epic wedding, until it completely blew our minds. Get ready, because this wedding came with a surprise FLASH MOB! Jackie had no idea that Tom and a couple dozen of her friends had been planning this performance for weeks, not to mention, we all discovered Tom’s secret moves he had been saving for this very moment. It was pant-splitting amazing (smile).

Jackie and Tom really planned a lot of sweet treats for their guests. It wasn’t just the fabulous dessert table display that won the crowd, but they also had a couple of outrageous inflatables that called for a memorable time! The sumo suits were probably the most hilarious thing we have ever seen at a wedding, and the guests didn’t stop in the wrestling arena—the suits were spotted all over Union Station, making this night one heck of a party. And it brought a whole new meaning to “Gangnam Style”. Epic win!
