Sheraton Austin Texas Wedding Photos // Brinda + Ronak – San Diego Wedding Photographer | Los Angeles Wedding Photography
We met Brinda years ago when she was a bridesmaid at a few of our weddings. It was such a thrill when we got the news that she was engaged! On top of being able to photograph another Indian wedding (which we love!), we were also so excited to see some old faces again, who are all now, might I add, parents! One of our lovely brides, Annie, had actually only had her baby a few days before, so though it was sad not to see her there in person, we were all glad she was able to join us through video chat all day long, dressed in her bridesmaid sari and all! It was a reunion we’ve waited years for, and having it all take place in the ultra cool city of the south, Austin, Texas, was a huge win.
The day before the wedding ceremony, we joined them for their Garba Raas celebration, which was an evening of food, family bonding, and a lot of dancing! The music seemed to never stop, and we’re still amazed at how long everybody could keep up on the dance floor, with songs lasting up to an hour each! All the energy got us hyped up for what we could only imagine would be a spectacular wedding celebration the following day.
Brinda and Ronak found a wonderful gem of a venue at the newly renovated Sheraton Austin Hotel at the Capitol, which was such a fun place for photos! Geometric patterns, eye-catching decor, and all the colorful outfits of the wedding guests made the whole event such a treat for our eyes. And of course, we couldn’t wait for our favorite part of any Indian wedding, the Baraat, at which our handsome groom was escorted in on a spectacularly decorated white horse, dancing their way through the streets of Austin in grand fashion. But aside from all the rose petals, jewels, and glamour, we loved that the families were such a huge part of their wedding day, full of blessings from every sibling, uncle, cousin, and grandparent. The reception was such a celebration of surprise dance performances and emotional first/last dances, and our bride and groom couldn’t have looked any happier.
So until the next wedding, where we can all gather again, we wish you both a beautiful start to your journey ahead!
