Biltmore Ballrooms Wedding Photos // Dorothy + Sam – San Diego Wedding Photographer | Los Angeles Wedding Photography

Honestly, I have never seen a bride this happy on a rainy wedding day. It was an unexpected weekend of downpour and gloomy skies in Atlanta, but we never once saw the smiles leave Dorothy and Sam’s faces. They were so happy that their New York-Atlanta long-distance romance was soon coming to an end, and that they could finally start life together in this new city they now both call home. As Dorothy met her groom on the balcony of the Biltmore Ballrooms, her face lit up, just like the animated girl we had met during their engagement session, and Sam never looked happier. It was the first time they knew their meeting would not lead to a dreadful goodbye at the airport after a wonderful weekend together. Today they would say goodbye to “goodbyes”—and that’s something worth celebrating!

As the newlyweds celebrated a new beginning together, they didn’t forget to acknowledge where they had come from. So as favors, they offered New York Cheesecake cake pops and Atlanta Coke bottles as clever gifts for guests to take home! But long before it was time for everybody to leave, there was a dance floor they had to set on fire, and a party they had to rock. And that they did indeed.
