Hyatt Wedding Photos // Rita + Jon – San Diego Wedding Photographer | Los Angeles Wedding Photography
There was so much love at this wedding. There’s no other way to describe it. There was just so much love. I could almost hear Bruno Mars singing in my head. On their wedding day, Rita and Jon seemed almost oblivious to the pouring rain outside. From the moment we arrived, we could see the excitement on their faces, their contagious smiles brightening up the whole room. We can’t help but smile when we’re with them, even during their many tearful moments!
It’s usually no surprise when we see brides (and bridesmaids) get emotional throughout the day, but when we meet a groom who gets choked up (more than once) at the sight of his beautiful bride, it really sets the tone for the rest of the day. Rita and Jon exchanged some touching vows during their ceremony at CCCNJ, and were overjoyed to finally call each other “husband” and “wife”. As the storm outside worsened, they only seemed to get happier….and there’s nothing that we didn’t love about that!
By the time we were ready to head back to the Hyatt for their reception, the storm had brought lightning, thunder, and a torrential downpour. But no dreadful weather could knock the smiles off these newly weds’ faces—they still seemed happier than ever (which is why we absolutely love them!). The guests joined in on the fun, too, and showered them with bubbles on the dance floor. Way to bring the outdoor fun inside! The whole day was such a celebration of love, and you couldn’t deny that everybody there also loved them very, very much. Some maybe even a little too much (smile). We left this wedding feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. Rita and Jon, thanks for brightening up an otherwise gloomy day!
