Food Trucks. Boutiques. Bikes everywhere. No sales tax. And Blue Star Donuts. There’s no question that Portland has always been one of our favorite cities, and coming back here to celebrate with some familiar faces was such a treat! We met Amanda a few years ago when her sister, Corissa, also tied the knot in Stumptown, and very quickly we knew this wedding was going to be just as fun. Amanda and Nathan, who are huge “Game of Thrones” fans, call themselves the “House of Bolee” (a fusion of their family names), and even had a talented friend custom-design a family crest to look like one from the popular TV show. We were so impressed! Amanda, who works for Nike, had a special pair of custom sneakers made for the occasion, and on top of everything, she even designed her own wedding dress! We had so much fun geeking out with the pair and enjoying everything we love about downtown Portland. But our favorite part might have been the Salt & Straw ice cream booth at the end of the night! Such a fun day spent with some amazing people at the Sentinel Hotel. Can’t wait until our next trip back to P-Town!
